Apa jadinya kalo Papa Roach yang biasa bawain lagu rock keras, penuh dengan nada-nada yang kalo gue boleh bilang serius dan penuh dengan kemarahan, tiba-tiba bawain lagu rock yang sedikit “riang”? Hasilnya bisa didengerin di single terbaru mereka yang punya judul Lifeline. Suasana yang bener-bener baru. Lebih seger. Dan buat gue sih asik banget.

Awalnya sih gue ngarepin lagu ini punya tipe yang sama kayak lagu mereka yang laen kayak Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects, She LOves Me Not ato lagu mereka yang laen. Tapi lagu ini dari intro awalnya udah bisa kerasa kalo lagu ini beda banget sama lagu mereka yang laen. Yah, seperti gue bilang tadi, lagu ini bisa termasuk lagu rock yang riang.

Udah lama banget gue ngga ngikutin lagu-lagu Papa Roach. Padahal waktu zaman gue SMA, gue lumayan nge-fans sama band ini. Setelah album Love, Hate, Tragedy gue udah jarang banget dengerin lagu mereka. Dan setelah gue tau mereka bakal rilis album baru di Maret 2009 nanti, kayaknya gue jadi pengen mulai hunting album-album mereka yang belom gue punya nih… They’re one of the greatest rock band. Tapi bocoran aja, lagunya agak mirip lagu Netral..
